Ben & Jerry’s Tell the President, Yes Pecan!

This one is a little past its freshness date but let’s take a look any way. We go all the way back to those halcyon days of January, 2009. Inauguration was in the air and those lefties of the northeast and purveyors of fine ice creams – Ben & Jerry’s – salute the nations newest lead lefty with a special flavor. Yes Pecan! Well, it wasn’t really a new flavor. They just renamed their butter pecan flavor. And it was only temporary. Just for January. Sheesh! Jerry Garcia got better treatment! But it was all for a good cause. Common Cause that is. Proceeds of sales of the flavor went to the Common Cause Education Fund. A win for everyone. Unless you don’t like butter pecan. Fox News probably doesn’t like butter pecan….
