Is the President Becoming a Joker?
As we at BARACKSploitation! may have hinted in the past, many people and business entities out there are using President Obama as a means to market an extraordinary array of products bearing his name and image. Now we find that the exploitation has grown beyond business and into the political realm. Posters by an unknown artist and source have begun to appear around Los Angeles, as reported by the likes of Tammy Bruce and Bedlam Magazine, depicting the image of the President made over as the Heath Ledger Joker from The Dark Knight and bearing the word ’socialism’ below. While the Joker is a malevolent character, the message and intent of the poster is not wholly clear. Is it saying that it’s good to smile? The glass is half full? Guess what I’m going as for Halloween? Perhaps when we find Rush Limbaugh running down the street in full Batman gear we’ll have a clearer picture.
