Obama Waffles at the Breakfast Table

Follow along. If you are constantly switching your stance on things, then you are a waffler. If you are a waffler, then you are a politician. If politicians are wafflers, than the biggest waffler of all must be the president. That seems to be the premise behind the Obama Waffles blog. To further make their point, the bloggsters have begun marketing their own real life waffle mix bearing the president’s name and image (well, the likeness in the image is questionable and sadly generic). So now when you pour over your morning blog and coffee you can enjoy a plate of waffles to go with it. What could be more American?!

Orange You Glad for Jones Soda

As we sometimes do, we cast our glance backward to those happier days of yore. Yes. We’re talking inauguration 2009. Back then Barack Obama was the newly sworn Commander in Chief and while the economy had sunk to abysmal lows, everbody seemed to feel some cock-eyed sense of optimism. Hope was in the air and everyone was looking toward change. The folks at Jones Soda commemorated the new age with a limited edition flavor – Orange You Glad For Change Cola. A rich cola flavor with fresh orange overtones. Of course you couldn’t verify the quality and flavor of the product. If you cracked one open you’d destroy the collectable value. You’ll need those to one day pay for junior’s college or maybe some health care. Still, it made you wish that you were president and you had a soda flavored after you.

Barack Obama Gets the Zortz Treatment

We seem to recall that, while on the campaign trail, then candidate Obama pledged to have greater oversight and transparency in his White House. In other words, he’s going to clean up the place. With the Barack Obama Zortz, you can start the clean up job yourself right in your home office. Once you get past the awkwardness of the President constantly staring at you with a creepy smirk on his face and looking over all that you do – and heck, that’s what big government is for – you can bask in the satisfaction of having all of your notes and papers properly organized. Or if you somehow don’t love the Prez, then you can look at is as having him as your puppet president in the compromised position of keeping all of your papers in his mouth.

Nothing celebrates hope and change more than the image of the President springing out of a box. We agree. That was a stretch. Okay. Complete nonsense. The folks at Pop Art Creations, though, want to combine their love for jack-in-the-boxes with the hot marketing opportunity of the moment, President Obama. Admittedly, the potential for mirth is great. Slip this under the nose of a nervous conservative and watch them jump out of their skin while the President jumps out at them. Stand back, though. They may exercise their second amendment rights at close range! Or perhaps you can load this up with money confetti and place it in front of your favorite liberal. When Mr. Obama pops up throwing money into the air you can watch the euphoria wash over them. The applications are endless!

We kind of prefer our Jack-In-The-Box deep fried and three for a buck.

Check out the Obamarific cover art featuring the new nemesis “The Screeching Enchantress” (who looks suspiciously like Anne Coulter…hmmm). The Progressive Ruin blog picks this as a potential collectors item so be sure to find it at your local comic shop tomorrow or you’ll be buying it on ebay for twice the price!

If you don’t want to miss out on the next collectible Obama comic, you better camp out at your local comic shop tomorrow. New comics come in on Wednesdays and when they do Army of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama from Dynamite Entertainment will be among them.

Army of Darkness is, of course, the film franchise created by Sam Raimi (you know, the Spider-Man guy). Ash is, of course, the character created and played by Bruce Campbell (you know, the Burn Notice guy). Obama is, of course, the Main Man in Chief (you know, the health care re…never mind).

We’ve heard of public officials ducking questions. And we are familiar with the lame duck politician. We certainly hope our leaders have their ducks in a row. Now, it would seem, the President has gone all rubber duck on we the people. The folks at CelebriDucks have designed a rubber duck in the image of President Obama himself to compliment their fine assortment of other celebrity ducks. Floating in the tub and quacking away never seemed so presidential.

Obama Money Plan is a Novelty

As the first 100 days are now history and the glimmer on the new presidency is a little more subdued, some folks have let their confidence sag a bit as nervousness sets in regarding the economy. Will the banks too big to fail fail anyway? Will the endless mounds of money poured into the stimulus packages give a return on our investment? Can we keep sticking it to our grand children and get away with it? Turns out that there just may be a plan. If the global monetary system collapses and the federal reserve runs dry then operation Obama Money will kick in. If you interpret the info available at Novelties Wholesale the way we did – and why wouldn’t you trust a novelties company? – then the conclusion is that there will be plenty of Obama dollars circulating in no time.

So do as the government says and spend, spend, spend!
