Collector’s Alert: Bo Obama Team-up Comic in Stores Today!

Remember when we told you that Bo Obama was making noise in the comics world? Well today is the day for you to storm your local comics and snap up a copy of Marvel’s Pet Avengers #3, which features a team up with the the little first poopmaker.

“When Chris and I were putting the book together, we thought of all the cool places the PAs could go and meet other powerful animals…the moon, the Savage Land, the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, the Jurassic Era…and then we thought, well, shouldn’t they go meet the most POWERFUL animal in the world?” said series editor Nate Cosby. “Long story short, the Puppy-In-Chief plays a HUGE role in the Pet Avengers’ GREATEST BATTLE VERSUS…I’ve said too much.”

In 1976, Marvel and DC comics shocked the world by doing what no one said was possible. They brought iconic characters Spider-Man and Superman together for one great adventure. Two heroes crossing over dimensional barriers to achieve and impossible team-up. Such titans never before had met and surely the day of any such pairing would never come again……..

That is until Spider-Man crashed the inauguration of one President Elect Barack Obama! What Earth shaking adventure would these two titans share? Uh…well as it turned out, not really much of any ‘onscreen’ time together at all. But putting the face of the esteemed first citizen on the cover of one’s comic turned out to be shrewd business. Five printings later the web headed one has an unqualified sales smash on his hands.
